The phrase “bad penny” typically refers to a person or thing that is unwelcome, troublesome, or tends to reappear despite efforts to get rid of it. It implies a persistent and undesirable presence that lingers and returns unexpectedly.
The design on this distinctive and quirky hoodie features the well-known phrase “Bad Penny.” With the addition of the words ‘I’m The’ at the beginning, the phrase now suggests that either the character on the t-shirt or the person wearing it sees themselves as ‘a bit of a bad girl’ (‘The Bad Penny’).
